About
Trust Institute Africa - Your Trust Partner

Moses Wasamu
Founder, Trust Institute Africa
The story of Trust Institute Africa is tied to the working experience of Moses Wasamu, who has spent 30 years experiencing how trust is build and destroyed across African journalism, cooperatives, and faith-based leadership. It is this experience that made him realize the importance of building structures that will build trust and increase stakeholder confidence in these organizations.
Trust Institute Africa (TIA) is a Kenya-based organization that was borne out of a desire to see strong African organizations which are functioning optimally, and which have the trust of their stakeholders. Without trust, members will stop saving in Saccos, church members would walk away from churches, and donors would withdraw from NGOs. Thus, TIA positions itself as a specialized “trust partner.”
It targets SACCOs, faith-based organizations, and NGOs struggling with weak governance, poor communication, and eroded stakeholder confidence. It applies the Trust Framework, A five-pillar model for building trust for leaders and boards. It helps these institutions to build trust by design, not by hope.
